Lachlan Bailey is fashion and portrait photographer currently based in New York. Originally from Australia, he studied both film and photography in Melbourne, before moving to London in 2001. After assisting for several years, Lachlan broke out on his own in 2004 after getting a break with several influential magazines and editors.
Lachlan is now a regular contributor to Japanese Vogue,British Vogue,Vogue China and i-D magazine,also working for Arena Homme+,POP and Dazed and Confused.He is currently collaborating with a select group of Fashion editors,including Jonathan Kaye,Jane How,Nancy Rhode and Sarah Ellison.
Influenced at an early age by cinematography, Lachlan’s pictures possess a very personal take on colour, light and beauty.
